Important Information
We are a campground, not an RV park. All sites are on grass and close to level, but not perfect. Most sites have tree cover, and six are in an open field, suitable for short stays. Please note we do not have sewer facilities; charges apply for dump station or pump-out services.
Please pay attention to the directions: there is a low culvert.
Please leave a message if you call (908) 996-2953. Our business hours are from Noon to 7:30 PM. During the season, we check messages regularly but may not always be able to answer calls. In the off-season, please expect longer delays for responses.
Between 2:00 PM and before 7:30 PM. Office closes at 8:00 PM.
The camping fee includes two adults; the third adult is $15.00, and the third child is $6.00.
Anyone entering the campground must obtain a paid camping license before passing the office area at the first row of trailers and the stop sign. Individuals who proceed to a campsite without a valid permit will be considered trespassers and asked to leave. Additionally, all parties involved may be required to exit without a refund of their initial payment. If you are meeting someone, please do so at the office area or before reaching it.
Firewood is available for purchase at the office. Outside firewood is not permitted due to NJDEP regulations.
The campground speed limit is five mph to ensure safety and a pleasant experience for everyone. I appreciate your cooperation!
A one-night stay incurs charges, with additional fees based on RV size or usage. One free dump is included with a weekend stay.
Our office closes at 8:00 PM. We cannot always arrange early or late check-ins; additional charges may apply.
The cancellation policy requires a 10-day notice and incurs processing fees of $15 per site. Please write cancellation requests to camp@mtviewcamp.com with the subject line “Cancellation Request.”
Reservations are suggested and guarantee a site.
All reservations are final if not modified before the cancellation policy. You may be able to change your arrival date or length of stay. Changes or substitutions don't apply to holiday weekends.
Full payment is required at the time of making a reservation, covering the entire duration of the stay. Additional fees for extra campers must be paid at check-in.
A nonrefundable and nontransferable deposit is required for a minimum of two nights to book a stay over a holiday weekend.
